We work with employers and their staff to improve workplace wellbeing. Being healthy isn’t just about feeling good physically; it’s also about having good mental health.

Wellness Works offers advice, information and training to help support good mental health at work. Mental ill-health has a greater impact on people’s attendance and performance at work than any other health condition. We have been designing, facilitating and delivering positive mental health programmes the workplace and in the community across Worcestershire and Herefordshire since 2007, with great results. Our programmes have helped reduce absence levels and improve staff morale and productivity at work, as well as helping people to manage stress, anxiety and depression.

The Working Well project has now come to an end and we are delighted by its success! Over 150 people from seven local organisations have taken part.

Working with our partners, the Workers Education Association, we’ve delivered ‘bite size’ sessions in the workplace covering topics as diverse as Tai Chi, painting, dance fit and money management, but all with the same aim – to help people relax and manage their stress at work. Feed back has been brilliant and we know from our evaluations that the courses have really helped.

Taking sessions to the workplace has proved a really good way to help people with busy lives take part in them, and the exciting courses have meant that they can be enjoyed without the stigma of being labelled as needing mental health support. In fact they’ve helped to show that we all need to look after our mental health and wellbeing and to take time to feel good about ourselves.

You can find out more about the project on the ‘project in a box’ page. We are still committed to promoting good mental health at work and hope that others might want to do something similar. We are working hard to sustain and develop this fantastic project, so watch this space………..

As always, we offer a practical, affordable and professional approach for employers and employees along with a real understanding about how difficult it can be for those both struggling with mental health problems and for those managing them.
